The North Dakota State Water Commission and the office of the State Engineer are responsible for the preservation and dissemination of official government survey plats (GLOs) and notes for the State of North Dakota. Many of these documents are as old, or older than the State itself, dating back to the late 1800's through the early 1900's.
They provide access to all of the GLO and benchmarks for the state of North Dakota through our new interactive mapping service: http://survey.swc.nd.gov/
In this Richland County application, I have referenced the ones applicable to our county and have served them for your convenience. At the main North Dakota Water Commission site, you will have access to much more content, including surveyor notes and benchmark information.
